New Patient Registration
If you live within our practice area you are welcome to register with us. Our reception staff will be happy to guide you through the procedure. Eligibility can be quickly confirmed from your address.
You will need to complete a registration form (GMS1) and a health questionnaire, which will provide useful information whilst we wait for your medical records to arrive from your previous doctor.
We offer a new patient health check with one of our health care assistants. Once you are registered with us, please contact the surgery to speak to a member of the reception team, who will be more than happy to arrange an appropriate appointment for you
Medical treatment is available from the date of registration.
Temporary Registration
If you are ill whilst away from home, or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one, you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient. You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months, this will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient, or permanently register with that practice. To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient, although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.

Out of area registration
If you live outside our catchment area and would like to register with the practice, please read the information below carefully before submitting your registration request.
Important Information About Out of Area Registration
Before registering as an Out of Area patient, it is important that you understand the following:
- As an Out of Area patient, the practice is not obligated to provide home visits. There may also be limitations regarding your access to local community-based services, including adult social care, district nursing, and other community healthcare services.
- If you experience an urgent medical condition or injury and are unable to attend the surgery in person, you will be advised to contact NHS 111. NHS 111 can help arrange appropriate care within your local area, which may include a face-to-face appointment or, where necessary, a home visit.
- If you develop complex, ongoing, or long-term healthcare needs that require support from local community services, we may recommend that you register with a GP practice closer to your home address.
- Please note that we will regularly review Out of Area registrations. If, at any stage, we believe that your healthcare needs would be better met by a practice nearer to where you live, we may advise you to register with a local GP surgery. Our priority is to ensure that all patients receive safe, accessible, and appropriate care.
